"CAP Implementation Workshop" Meeting - ISA, 23rd and 24th September 2015

On 23rd and 24th September 2015 will be held at the Italian National Fire Corps Academy (Istituto Superiore Antincendi)  the "CAP Implementation Workshop" meeting, organized by the U.N. World Metereological Organization and the National Fire Brigade, Public Rescue and Civil Defense Department, together with the Permanent Representative Italian at the WMO. The purpose of the event, preceded by "jump start meeting" of 22 September, will be to promote the exchange of experience between the community who deals with the standard CAP in public alarm and data exchange systems in emergency and major disasters in different parts of the world.

CAP protocol has been adopted by the Italian National Department with the 2008 decree: "Approvazione del profile of the Protocol for the transmission of data for the application cooperation with services emergency by Decree 17 June 2008 "and with the subsequent decree 23 May 2011".

At the moment CAP standard is used in Italy in the control rooms networks of the National Fire Corps to exchange and share information about rescue operations.
