National Fire Fighters Triathlon Representative
The National Fire Fighters Triathlon Representative was born with the aim to participate to the joint events and it start his activity in Lido delle Nazioni (FE) on June 6th, 1998 at the first Italian Army Championship, thanks to tenacity and the will of Tommaso Carsetti, ex Fire Fighter of Ancona, then died tragically on 2009.
At the 2nd Italian Army Championship, that took place in Villasimius (CA) on June 19th, 1999, the Fire Fighters Representative won the team¿s chart ahead the teams of Police and Carabinieri.
In Forte Dei Marmi (LU) on May 14th, 2000, at the 3rd Italian Army Championship the National Fire Fighters Team finished to the 2nd place, behind the Carabinieri Team that had the 1th step of the podium.
At the 4th edition of the Italian Army Championship that took place in Cefalù (PA) on April 22nd, 2001 the National Fire Fighters Team come back to win ahead Armed Forces Team and Guardia di Finanza Team.
With the renewal of the Team, the National Fire Fighters Team placed on 5th place at the 5th edition of the Italian Army Championship in Bardolino (VR) on June 22nd, 2002.
On May 31st, 2003 during the 6th edition of the Italian Army Championship, that took place in Castiglione del Lago (PG), the Fire Fighters Team placed in 3rd position behind the more prestigious teams of the Police State and Carabinieri.
The last participation of 6 units is on September 11th, 2004 at the 7th Italian Army Championship that took place in Peschiera del Garda (VR).
In the 2009, the representative restarts its activity in order to participate at the 12th edition of the Italian Joint Championship on September 6th, that took place in Ostia (RM). This championship was renamed in this way because the sports groups of the State corps go out from the activities of CISM and COSMIL.
