The Sports Activities Office of Fire Fighters department, of Public Rescue and Civil Defence, in cooperation with Central Direction for the Formation and the Provincial Command of Rome establishes the 1° Italian Fire Fighters Championship of Football to the memory of Giorgio Mazzini - assistant chief vicar department - National Fire Fighters Corp Chief, prematurely died on the January 3rd, 2008.
Only the regional representatives which are placed in the first eight positions at the 6th Italian Fire Fighters Championship of five-a-side participate to the championship that took place in Rieti since June 11th, 2008 to the June 15th, 2008, including Lazio that was accepted ex officio because it gave hospitality to the Championship.
The competitions will take place nearby the grounds of the Scuole Centrali Antincendi, in Scilla square 2, and nearby the Rome's Command situated in "del Calice" Street, with the exception of the Final Match for the 1st and 2nd place that it will take place on September 20th, nearby the "Dei Marmi" Stadium at the 16 o' clock.
