Volleyball's Shields
From football to volleyball and to the adventure of "Ruini Firenze", when it was stil
l called volleyball and it was one of the emerging disciplines in the scene of national sport.
In fact the team of Florence won five shields, in these football season: '63-'64; '64-'65; '67-'68; '70-'71; '72-'73. Among the juniores it's necessary to record the success of Casadio Fire Fighters from Ravenna from 1965 to 1968 and then in '75-'76. In the nineties no less than three teams of Sports Groups of Fire Fighters have been in national volleyball championships: Livorno in A2, Firenze in B1 and Reggio Emilia in B2.
